NEW SHOW ANNOUNCED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to be playing Emo's Red River Inside stage one last time before the doors are shut, so come out and party with us and our good friends, The Brigade, The Artillery, For Every Empire, and Blurry Vision. It will promise to be a night of fun and great tunes.

November is almost over, just like that, damn space-time continuum always gets the last laugh. But If you want to dance you have to pay the band, right? Speaking of paying, we have lined up a show on December 9th at Trophy's on South Congress with our good buddies Helisphere, Wake the Colossus and our new amigos, Nekrist. So come one, come all to a night of heaviness. It's a Friday night too so no need to be buzz killington and worry about working the next day, even if you do have to work, just drag your ass to the show and let the frustrations of the week loose.

In other news, Sir Smutt Lange has summoned for us to assemble and meet him at an undisclosed location at the beginning of December. Who knows what this rain man has in mind for us next, but as soon as we find out so will you......

UPDATES.....11/2011

Well, October is down for the count, and November is in full swing. We have a few things on the burner we are cooking up for you guys, we decided to added a little something to the WSTLND ep, just a sonic addition that brought the whole ep together. So we wrapped that up, and after we revise the artwork the ep will finally be sent off to be pressed.

Also we finally got off our asses and got a current batch of band photos taken by our extremely talented friend, Walter Pieringer, who was kind enough to take a few hours out of his busy schedule to snap a few shots of us, the photos will be posted soon. In addition to those 2 little nuggets, we have also been working on a few hometown shows, with a few of our local buddies and maybe even a few out of town friends who knows what craziness will unfold, but I assure you, you do not want to miss out. Today, we also put in our submission for SXSW 2012, hopefully we get selected to showcase our brand of metal for the SXSW masses.

There are a few things I have left out due to me not being at liberty to say at this moment, but stayed tuned for more information on what other predicaments the suspiciously curious DSGNS boys get themself into next.

Had a great time at Trophy's this past Friday with our Good buddies in Vile Aura, Square and Compass, Indisgust, and Before the Eyewall, thanks for everyone that came out to support good heavy music.

Hey there people of the world wide interweb, a few things I need to kick down to you guys.

First off, tomorrow's show at Trophy's just got a bit heavier. Before the Eyewall, from Ohio, has been added to the bill. Stoked to see these guys throw down, so come to Trophy's and show BTE how great Austin fans can be. Show starts at 9pm with Vile Aura will kicking it off, then Square and Compass from Houston, DSGNS, Indisgust, and Before the Eyewall. Cover is $5, 21 and up only. The Texas Metal Collective crew will be hanging out as well, should be a helluva party!

Second, we have decided on a title for our EP. We have decided on WSTLND,aka wasteland. Once artwork is finalized it will be going to the presses for production and will be ready for purchase ASAP, for those of you who still like to have physical rather than digital.

OCTOBER 7TH..................UPDATE

So The Tempest had to drop off the bill due to some scheduling conflicts, but we got our good friends in Square and Compass to pick up the slack, another great Houston Band, so you guys come out and support great music!!!

September Update

Lots going on in the DSGNS camp, we have t shirts finally getting printed, and we have a few additional items in the works as well. So those of you, who are dying to rep DSGNS in every aspect of your life don't have to wait too much longer.

We have wrapped up the recording side of our EP, now all that is left is some knob turn'in from Smutt, and sending the cd off to get printed. We will post a song or two ASAP, until then just watch Robocop cause that quite possibly is the only thing out there that is close to being as good as our songs! 

We also have a few shows coming up, October 7th with our friends Vile Aura, The Tempest(htx), and Indisgust(sm) at Trophy's doors at 9pm, stay tuned for more info.

Well, only a few more hours left in my work week, and I can officially close the books on this last full week of August.  The next week will bring much to look forward to, we go in to Diamond Factory to work on vocals for the DSGNS ep, and we also will be sending off to get our t shirts printed up, which you can take a peek at over at our big cartel page    http://dsgns.bigcartel.com/   

We also will be working on booking shows, as of now we have September 13th, at Head Hunters and October 23rd at Dirty Dog booked. Hope to see some of you at one if not both shows.

We would like to take this time to thank the man, the legend, the myth, Smutt Lange, he has been guiding us pretty much every step of the way. Like a sheppard leads his flock to safety. He has helped shape our sounds in ways we never would have thought were humanly possible. We are so proud and privileged to have the man that engineered the success of such bands as, The Methmatics, Billy Shanghai and the Gypsy Dicks, Dirt Goblins, Pecular y Pepito, Fecal Wave and the international super group Dead Eyes of Marlon Brando, just to name a few, watching over us like a mother bear watches over her cubs. So expect nothing but great things from us in the coming months. And stay tuned to see what path the almighty Smutt guides us down next.

Tracking Bass......Pt. 2

One week later we ventured back into Diamond Factory to lay down some bass, for the as yet untitled EP. We manage to track all 3 songs with out any issues other than running out of beer. The music alone will make you involuntarily shake and yell in tongues. Now for the final piece, vocals, not sure if human ears are equipped for this EP.

Maybe if you had wolf ears, MAYBE!

Update from the studio.......

Well, Tuesday we entered Diamond Factory to lay down the bass tracks, we hit a small snag forcing us to call it a night before we could even get a single bass track. But we salvaged the night with some good ole champagne and good jokes.

We are going to be heading back to DF early next week to get the bass tracks done and on to vocals. Stay tuned for more updates, more pics and vids soon....

Friday, finally here........

We made it, it's here finally Friday!!!!! In a few hours the weekend will offically be here. Tomorrow we have a show at hoek's with Acid Titz, if you are in the area and get a craving for beer, pizza and loud rock you should come out and hang out with us and a few friends. Its FREE, what more can you ask for?
